Technology: CAE (Computer Assisted Engineering): We create our fins using the latest 3D modeling and analysis technologies. Numerical simulations help Kaku engineers to draw the perfect line between power and control. Finite Element Analysis (FEA) stress simulations replicate hours and hours of riding in a second.
CNC milled foils: Each single fin is produced using this state of the art technology. A numerically controlled machine carves the smoothest curves into our G10 blanks. This outstanding control of our process accuracy ensures every fin we ship is an exact replica of the 3D master model.
G10: We use real G10 FR4, not cheaper epoxy laminates. This highly compressed epoxy composite gives each Kaku fin the little kick you always wanted. High stiffness allows us to design without minimal thickness limitations. When it comes to durability nothing beats G10 fins.
ULTRA_FINISH: The surface of every single fin is modified and optimized for prefect glide. The process is leaving a semi-polished hydrodynamic texture on the composite |
